Dr. James Lee

Dr. Jimmy Lee is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality dentistry in a fun and relaxing environment.

Dr. Lee is a native Virginian, raised in Richmond, and he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia before continuing his studies at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry at VCU. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Lee completed an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residency in St. Petersburg, Florida, with training under the Dawson Academy and Pankey Institute. Dr. Lee has earned Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (a designation achieved by only 6% of dentists nationwide), is an active participant in the local Spear Study Club, and serves on the Dental Advisory Committee for the Charlottesville Free Clinic. 

Dr. Lee is passionate about improving his all aspects of his patients’ oral health.  He places great emphasis on continuing education courses, and takes a special interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Dr. Lee is thrilled to be here in Charlottesville, and loves working alongside Dr. Davis and the Lee Family Dentistry team. Outside of the office, Dr. Lee enjoys golfing and tennis, playing the piano and guitar, and spending time with his wife, Katie, and four children, Samuel, Ethan, Caroline, and Abigail.
