Dr. Joseph Waff III (Retired)

Dr. Waff was born in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his graduate degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. While in dental school, he was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national honorary dental society, as well as to Sigma Zeta, the honorary society in the natural sciences.

After two and one half years in the U.S. Navy, he returned to Charlottesville, where he began his dental practice. This is the practice now continued by Drs. Lee and Davis.

Dr. Waff is primarily retired, but his decades-long contribution to dentistry continues to inspire us, and we are always delighted when he stops by for a visit. He and his wife enjoy living on their farm in Crozet. They have a daughter, a son, and three grandchildren.
